'Most people'....read the post!!
I think we'll see tonnes of immigration post Brexit - especially for unskilled jobs, where they will be a shortfall.

And in a de-regulated Britain - loads from poorer African and Asian countries where these employees can be paid peanuts,

Britain has done well out of immigration. But what has happened, at the same time, poorer people have been shafted by successive governments and a dogwhistle media has tried to create divisions and have scapegoated immigrants.
Two thirds of immigration in the past year has come from outside the EU .

Shadow health secretary Jonathan Ashworth doesn't seem very confident...

"Question is to Labour, gets itself half decent leader, next time round reverse and regain its traditional heartland seats.

"I just can't see how you [the Conservatives] don't have a majority to be honest."

"Outside of the city seats, if you're in small-town Midlands and the North, it's abysmal out there. They don't like Johnson, but they can't stand Corbyn and they think Labour's blocked Brexit."
On the chances of a Labour majority, he said: "I just can't see it happening.

"Johnson and CCHQ would have to massively **** it up."

He was recorded talking to a Conservative MP, a tad embarrassing.
He claims to have been winding up his tory mate.

I voted for Brexit. I know that the reasons were not due to being a racist or a bigot or indeed a racist bigot. I voted in a national referendum and if the vote had been remain I would have respected the result. That’s all there is to it. Personal opinion.

Why did Johnson just not push ahead with the withdrawal agreement as he had just secured a majority in the HOC for such an eventuality !
What is the motive for the GE ?
Why where the members of parliament not privy to the contents of it ?
What ulterior motive is the Great Liar got up is sleeve ?

He couldn't push ahead with it, the HoC approved, then immediately blocked it from being implemented.
The motive for the General Election is to get a majority so he can actually push ahead with it.
Not sure I understand that question, parliament were obviously aware of the contents of the withdrawal agreement.

Genuine question, out of interest and not loaded.

There seems to be a fair few Tory voters on this forum - how many are under the age of 40?

I'm under 40 and voting tory

Similar question to the Labour voters, how many over 40?

I thank you.

I'm under 40 and voting tory

Sure they wanted a few days to check the contents of it .

I honestly don't get the Champagne Socialist insults.
Does anyone recall the champagne socialists, such as Blair, Mandelson etc craping on the working class and getting away with it? I do. I was once a member of the party until I saw the direction of travel and quit. The Labour party is still full of them.

New Labour wasn't a socialist party.

Blair was Thatcher with a velvet glove over a iron fist.

That's an interesting topic and can anyone shed any light on how that's going to work?

'If' the SNP back Labour with the proviso of another Scottish referendum being granted,at what point will the SNP demand that referendum? And if they were to be successful? Where would that leave a Labour government in Parliament?

I don't think there's been much thought being put into a 'coalition' of this type and I'd love to be a fly on the wall at the initial meeting between Cornyn and Sturgeon.
Corbyn is supposedly an advocate of the UK staying together, this from a man who openly supports a united Ireland. I wish he'd just come out and say he'd support a second Indyref over the border, instead of dodging the issue.

Interesting item of the BBC 1pm news pouring doubt on the veracity of the photograph of the child lying on the floor of the hospital. Labour dirty tricks?
Plus John Ashworth recorded saying that he has little time for Corbyn.
Tories had a bad day yesterday. Today its Labour's turn.

Didn’t see that on the 1pm news, so if you have a link to the BBC article/report which is questioning the truth behind the incident, I’d be interested to see.

However, earlier today Telegraph ‘journalist’ Allison Pearson was trending on the issue.

She had tweeted that the parents had ‘staged the event’ despite the hospital actually acknowledging this happened and publicly apologising. She has now deleted this tweet but I understand she may be still subject to legal action from the parents for libel.

Here evidence is/was based around this, which interestingly had been spread by various twitter accounts (likely bots). Here is a collected screen shot of some of them, all claiming to have a good friend who works at “Leeds hospital”

On the subject of bots, and the spread of misinformation. This one of the best examples:

The first one was dodgy and the accounts been deleted, the second one made a twat of himself and has apologised and the third one is a Labour Councillor who seems to have been hacked.

There is an element of truth in it !
It would be silly to claim that all people that voted leave are racist as that isn't the case !
To claim all Brexit voters as racist is unfair and doesn't help. However, whilst not all brexit voters are racist, I reckon you can safely assume that all (give or take) racists who voted, voted to leave.

OK , and why will Brexit makes things better for ordinary people ?

I had actually just seen those two explanations you mention. Big ouch for the Labour Councillor too.

There are more screenshots of other accounts doing it too (not going to clog up here by posting) that include seemingly dodgy accounts.

Did Johnson think it was a fake when he refused to look at it about five times?
