    Interesting.

Not saying he definitely has here (and I have no proof), but there are ways to conceal (as well documented).

Wonder how much his family his worth?

Also, might get messy when he has to leave it to his kids.

I might have a couple of pence to rub together, but I've never voted Tory nor will I be voting Tory on Thursday.
I shan't be voting LD, Labour, Greens, or another other colour. Plaid or even SNP.

One thing to mention here, if we're mentioning money and honesty was the expenses scandal.

Loads of Tories and New Labour MPs caught literally siphening money from the taxpayer.

Corbyn was as clean as a whistle
    .
I think it was Liam Fox who, amongst his total claims, had a claim for 3p.

I'm 59 and will vote Conservative. My Labour days ended with Blair,I wouldn't let Corbyn run a bath never mind a Country and if truth be told I see the candidates for prime minister as the poorest on show for a long time!!

As for predictions, let's gauge opinion on that.

    Conservative majority would be mine.

    Thanks Ric.

I'm not sure yet on my prediction. Will post one before polls close on Thurs.

He's not from a massively wealthy family, his dad started off as a sheep farmer, before making a few bob out of his writing career, but he's not made the money Boris has.

SJ attended an independent boarding school in Dorset - must be from a few bob.

I suppose it depends upon how wealthy is wealthy. But certainly 'seems' upper middle class at least.

If the polls are squeezing than a 7% Tory lead will put us in hung parliament territory then I guess its up for grabs. If Labour and SNP come together they could form a government, then we really are £ucked.

I honestly don't get the Champagne Socialist insults.

To be on left do you have to live in a mud hut and live off the land?

Why can't people with money care about people less fortunate then them? Or as soon as we move up the ladder we wip the ladder away to stop people claiming it.

I honestly don't know what to think at the minute.

I've seen data that looks promising. I've seen data that looks poor.

The polls are all over the place - but are consistent in giving the Tory's a lead - between 6 pts (hung territory) to a whopping 14 pts (decent majority time).

There are some variables though which polling struggles to account for.

Newly registered voters (something like 3 million).
Youth vote and celeb support (Stormzy's support for Labour led to a massive voter reg spike)
    Last minute floaters
    The weather even.

I remember in 2017 I thought if Labour can just reduce her majority it will be something of a victory. I thought we had no chance of getting anything like we did.

I also remember Iain Dale (ex Tory MP now broadcaster) on election eve. I don't agree with him very often but clearly a clever guy - he had gone through the numbers, used his own judgment and had the Tory party at a majority of around a 100 seats.

So, I think we'll only know when it happens, or by about 10pm on Thurs.

That's an interesting topic and can anyone shed any light on how that's going to work?

'If' the SNP back Labour with the proviso of another Scottish referendum being granted,at what point will the SNP demand that referendum? And if they were to be successful? Where would that leave a Labour government in Parliament?

I don't think there's been much thought being put into a 'coalition' of this type and I'd love to be a fly on the wall at the initial meeting between Cornyn and Sturgeon.
