RIP Bob Willis.
I can still see him steaming into the Aussies in that famous Headingley test. What pace.

Crikey, are we all getting that old... I can remember too, it was as if in that Headingley game, everyone was watching in awe at what he and Beef did... RIP

RIP big bad Bob.....one of the finest cricketers of his generation and one of my sporting heroes when I was a lad, great honest pundit in later years....cricket fans throughout the world will miss you .....thanks for the great memories Bob

Tragic news of Bob Willis passing ... in these days when the term legend is easily banded around he and Botham truly earned that title .. RIP big man

RIP Bob Willis. Watched the Headingley bowling of Willis a few weeks ago. It’s a must. The focus and determination is awe inspiring. He has a look of absolute hatred for the shackle draggers and I don’t think he got enough praise for that performance.

Flight Lieutenant Maurice Mounsdon,101. One of the last of The Few. Only 3 now remaining. RIP, sir.

Pete Frates, whose battle with motor neurone disease inspired the ice bucket challenge, has died aged 34 (the ice bucket challenge eventually raised $220m for MND research).
