I don't know that, and it's certainly not true in my case. Most seems to be based on her competence.

Makes you wonder why they were so desperate to escape the wonders and equality of a communist country. Surel everyone is happy and wants for nothing. Why would they want leave such a wonderful system to come to the austerity hit, poverty stricken racist UK?

I despair that people have been lead by the MSM into the trap of blaming each other for the perceived ills of the country, rather than holding the government to account. Like:

    • poor people are poor because they don’t work hard enough - and they can’t really be poor anyway because they’re fat and own a telly.
    • I can’t get to see my doctor because of all those immigrants
    • All politicians are the same, can’t be bothered with it all now.

In an age where we have more information than ever about what our politicians are up to, and ways of contacting them, people are less informed and use the channels for abuse rather than discussion.

I’m somewhat to the left of Corbyn in my politics - I pay my taxes and view it as a privilege to repay the investment the country made in me when I was young, and I will vote to ensure that they go towards investing in the youngsters of today and tomorrow.

I sincerely hope that those who vote Tory solely because they’ll “get Brexit done” (they won’t, it will drag on for years because there are many many laws, regulations and deals to do after Brexit day, whenever that may be) are fully aware of what will come with another five years of this lot in charge.

    Boundaries

    Voter ID

    Judicial Involvement

    Human Rights Act

    Ex-Pat Voting

    Leveson

    Role of House of Lords

    Functioning of the Royal Prerogative

They are setting the wheels in motion to limit the boundaries of the Supreme Courts. The foundations of a Dictatorship, making it possible for them to take full control of Parliament similar to that of Germany in the 1920s/30s which led to the rise of Hitler.

    It should scare you all.

No one said it was. Though it was obviously racist and misogynistic to point out a Dawn Butler’s faux pas.

Younseem to have as big a crush on Abbott as I had on Julie Christie, who is a bit of a leftie BTW, in the 1960s.

The UK Statistics Authority, part of the Office for Statistics, said it was wrong and misleading from memory, and asked for it to be stopped being stated during the campaign.

funny you should draw that comparison, isn’t this election campaign of media smearing, propaganda and description frighteningly similar to the way Hitler rose in popularity?

In fact, it’s exactly the same.

It was a lot more accurate than the Abbacasus’s figures. Or Dawn Butler’s.

You’re deliberately missing the point. There’s a marked difference between pointing out a mistake & threatening to kill & rape somebody because they’re of colour & made a mistake.

You need to stop the justification, you appear to be condoning it.

You think so? Labour will be more like the USSR, useful idiots like Corbyn will be dispensed with if Labour win power and then McDonnell and the hatchet men of Momentum will take over. Of course the anti Semitism means Labour are closer to Hitler in some respects.

My viewpoint on where this election will finish is that there will be no Tory majority. They are the only major party to support Brexit.

I believe that the a larger share of the people who voted remain; some people who didn't vote as they never expected Brexit to win and the people who voted Brexit who subsequently learned they had been fed a pile of horseshit by the media will outnumber party political preference.

As Corbyn appears to be not liked, I expect large swings to the Liberals. Whether this is a good thing remains open to debate, but as long as the Conservatives don't hold a coalition majority, I care little.
