... after Silva is sacked.

It was a daft appointment, in the first place, and he'll never manage in the PL again.

After the last few managers the next one needs to be a good choice.

As we all know it only takes a bad choice, at this stage, to end up relegated.

If Benitez was that good they'd appoint him but, after taking Newcastle down, I doubt they'd take the risk.

Pochettino or does a bigger club come in for him?
I think he's sticking it out for the Barcelona job. They seem to like him.

I think Flores who has just left Watford will be in with a shout. David Moyes would probably be welcomed back with open arms there.

I think the majority of Everton fans would be bricking it if they appointed Moyes and I wouldn't blame them.

He's fluffed every job since but he knows that club inside out and done a great job there last time. That's no guarantee he could do the same again but if I was an Everton supporter, I'd be willing to take the chance on him.

Used to live on Merseyside, most of the ones I know are very unhappy about the idea.

I was on the Wirral mate, so, we got the nice view of Liverpool and they got the horrid view of us. :cheesy::cheesy:
Woolyback, then ;)

I've got family in Halewood, I'll be down there, next month.

"You're a woolyback then??"
"Well, actually I'm from Cardiff originally."
"...Sheep shagger then??"

As a rule, the scousers are lovely people in my experience. Always take the banter, welcoming, it's a great city.

I'll always struggle to entertain their accent, but yeah, their characters are very similar to ours. I was down there for the Cheltenham and Aintree meetings earlier in the year and I don't drink alcohol but the banter and laughs we had in the bars was just what you'd see in the locals around Tyneside.

On Everton, I think they're going down. They remind me of Newcastle in the 08/09 season.

If there was any job he could succeed at it'd be a second spell at Everton but it's a bit of a romantic viewpoint given his record since and the man himself is about as romantic as dog **** stuck on your shoe so I'm just not seeing it.

Fair play he did do well with them back in the day but there's been a lot of water under the bridge since then.

I don't see them going down, with all due respect they're a better side than Newcastle and they don't look like dropping either.

Having said that Moyes could relegate Liverpool so if they pick him they're screwed.

I think they're an aged side that have splashed cash on mediocre replacements.

While Newcastle are a side who's previous manager took great joy in telling everyone they're "not good enough" to inflate his worth.

Don't you know Clocky, guys like me and @Gordon Armstrong are Geordies. Born and raised on South Tyneside :emoticon-0150-hands

We are definately Geordies, having been born 'within a mile of the tyne' (the qualifying criteria) like 10s of thousands of other Geordie Sunderland supporters, but 'we' most certainly were not born or raised in tyneside (emphasis on not deserving a capital letter), Saffy :emoticon-0130-devil

I was born, and raised, in South Shields, County Durham, I now live in South Shields, Sunderland, and when I go out for a pint tonight I'll be going to 'locals' in 'Sheels (definately not tyneside) <cheers>

Nowt wrong with Tyneside mind.

I'm a fellow Geordie lads fan but brought up other side of water so the 90s were fun growing up...
