    Silva did a very poor job there, he was much worse than I expected. As for who they go for now, it's very tricky.

    British has has beens will not be welcomed (Moyes, Allardyce, Hughes). Top managers are out of their reach given their current predicament (Pochettino).

    Rafa Benitez would seem like an obvious front runner, though I'm not convinced. I'd be surprised if Eddie Howe and Chris Wilder don't get some consideration as well.

    Personally, if I was as ambitious as Everton, I'd be taking a bit of a gamble on a manager unproven in the Premier League, but who plays with a defined attacking style.

    My shortlist would be:

    Marcelo Gallardo (River Plate)
    Eric Ten Haag (Ajax)
    Sergio Conseicao (FC Porto)
    Adi Hutter (Eintracht Frankfurt)
    Marcelo Bielsa (Leeds)
