I won, thanks to all for setup tips and Ben Schulz for his fuel and tyre tips. I cant believe i won, spent most of the race a second faster. 2nd was only .342 behind , 3rd was 53 seconds after that.

-2 million in debt, so i cant fix the car, its a certain DNF in the next race.

You can downgrade any part L2 or higher for free, if you cant do that (because you have level 1 parts) then place all your risks to 0 as this will reduce wear during the race. I finished my last race starting with 86% wear on brakes and gearbox (i forgot you could only upgrade once and did the engine thinking i could do the rest later :p) and finished with 99% wear on both lucky i know.

hey sportydan nice to hear it helped, i on the other hand forgot to fix wear parts before the qualifying so i fixed them aftr qualifying and messed up my settings, positive outcome is my driver lost motivation, gained experience and stamina. i also got great data from that race. im gonna do my ratios for brands hatch and hopefully have a similar ratio to u guys

Well done Sportydan on your victory. I was running well and then I had an engine problem so finished low down. <wah>

My set up for Brands Hatch is:
    FW: 537
    RW: 556
    ENG: 615
    BRA: 480
    GEA: 596
    SUS: 671

Currently P3. I am going for a two stopper on the soft tyres with 84lt for each stint. I think the high temperature will mean it is going to be a bit iffy with my tyres though.

I have had a few disappointing races recently but a few people ahead of me in the standings are in debt while I am £27m in the black so I am hoping in the long run this will help beat them.

You sure thats not too much fuel? I've gone for the same strategy on the softs but going for 75lt fuel remember its a low fuel consumption track, though its always better to have too much than too little to be fair. Tyres should be ok because it is a low tyre wear track. Currently P10, but my driver is a Jenson...or rather he better be from there lol.

It is a long race though; the track is similar to Zolda apart from tyre wear but the downforce and suspension levels are the same and they are both light on fuel; I got my fuel level bang on for Zolda with only 1lt left at the end and the length of the laps are almost the same but Brands Hatch is 5 laps longer so I calculated what 5 laps would be and added it on to the amount of fuel I used for Zolda, so I think it should be about right, for me anyway your driver/car/set-up might use less fuel than mine.

Just doing some research, and i see why my wear rate was so high, i was running risk up to 70 , when it should be under 20. Very bad mistake, so if anyone else is doing the same, i would advise to change.

Thanks, I think you may have saved me an unplanned 3rd stop, though im going to have to do long second and third stints to make up for 75lt start, hopefully the tyres will hold up, and the engine (51) because this is a long race in the heat.

Yeah the risks are key to wear, I usually have mine typically between 10-20 depending on wear.

thanx mifune u saved me aswell. was going for the exactly same 2 stop with soft tyres cept i qualified with 95 litres. i used my past zolder info aswell but didnt take notice the difference between the race distance. big margin. my two stints where going to be 80 litres and 60 litres so might have to make up the numbers to make it 250 plus in total. im pretty certain the soft tyres will hold up with 95 litres onboard evn if it is hot. 95 litres is 52.77 percent (not too heavy) and is low tyre wear. i compared it with my zolder data and the soft tyres lasted 117.1 kms (27/70 laps) per stint in up to 18 degree heat with 20 percent tread left. zolder is a medium tyre wear so in my opinion it cancels out the temperature but i could be wrong. im goin for 85 and 80 for my 2 stints

el bando i think it depends if u want a longer lasting driver or a driver who will just finish of the season without worrying about his oa. i may be different but when i look for a driver i worry about his concentration and stamina mainly. it cost alot of money to train his stamina and after the season reset itll go down along with his motivation and his weight will go back up so if u find a driver with good stamina u can afford to train other important things. look for a driver with high concentration to go along with the stamina pref 150 plus coz when u train him with yoga his concentration will go up but his stamina will go down so high stamina and concentration work well. will be good for qualifying. if u want a driver just to finish of the season knowing ull get another driver for next season during break very high concentration or very high talent but if u dnt have good stamina or experience ur qualifying laps will suffer a bit. also low aggression is the way to be i mean alil aggression never hurt but too much and ur driver will make too many risks and wouldnt be able to use higher risk. hope it helps. good luck

also try look for a driver with his overall in the 70's tho its lower u can still find good drivers for cheap and it will give u space to wrk on his oa. there wont be many bidders on there either.

For me it is Stamina, Experience, Concentration I look for. Also a decent amount Technical Experience might help with getting close to a perfect set up. Good luck tonight guys.

technical insight is good but its not gonna win u races. its also hard to find all those attributes to be good. tech training is good to lower motivation tho. experience is also good for qualifying but is also good in passing and finding those extra tenths
