Can’t agree with this. Da Silva Lopes has been excellent since he started getting a regular berth and was good yesterday. Alongside him, Stewart looked sluggish. I’d have been tempted to do a straight swap Stewart for Toral so as not to break up the Irvine/Lopes fulcrum that was working so well. That said, I agree that Batty knocks Honeyman into a cocked hat. The latter is energetic enough but not enough end product.
I thought Da Silva and Stewart were both decent yesterday. We looked worse when Stewart was replaced by Honeyman.
