Gotta go for it mate because whilst there is some entertainment there is little or no real money in this league apart from getting out of it. Trouble is arguably we are a club that’s currently couple of injuries away from mid table
That's the problem losing someone like Toral yesterday even though we have a number of midfielders to come in we don't really have a playmaker to take his place. Thought we played very well yesterday but just that little bit of extra class could have opened them up. We are not to far away from been a very good team but at the same time lose a couple more and it could be a struggle again. Let's hope we are somewhere near that top six in January

Schoolboy errors from the manager defending short corners.
They went close from the first one..conceded from the second one.
Against the team who have scored most goals from outside the box in the league this season.
got to agree on this, having two on a corner against our one left us exposed and we didn't learn from it. Then Livermore scored a good goal but the amount of time and room he had to pick his spot?

Maybe it was a mistake to be chanting it at the derby game then ?
Personally I don't see why we should be wanting to create a toxic atmosphere in the ground towards our own club. We cannot keep going over old ground and re fighting old battles, what's gone has gone, and there are now signs that some of the wrong decisions are being reversed. Slowly but surely are we now not getting everything we were protesting about ?
The manager obvious wants more unity on and off the field and I dare say Nigel Adkins would have wanted that too because it cannot have been easy managing a team with your home support protesting about the owners. Perhaps we should all give McCann a fair chance at creating that, after all he had nothing to do with our old battles ?
We can never pick who owns the club and I doubt if all of us would ever be in full agreement with everything whoever does finally take over the responsibility does..
I do remember David Lloyd coming to the rescue after we'd been kicked senseless and left in the gutter by a succession of previous owners and he was spouting names changes, ground sharing, FFS I even remember the Hull City Tigers Sharks suggestion and a merger with Hull FC, and some even cheered that suggestion.
That's how desperate we were for change.
It's all relative now in the history of the club, as the Allam's reign will be in time, for they will not be here for ever.
The only thing that remains constant at a club is the fan base, we have seen it all, players, managers, and owners, they have all come and gone, but we are still there.
Every one of them, even every protest, has added to where we are today and what we are.
So, personally whilst respecting everyone who was passionate enough to protest when they thought the fabric of the club was been changed, and I have done it myself over the years when I thought those in charge were not as supportive as we were, is it not time to move on ?
(Puts tin hat on)
I pretty much completely agree with you.
The people that chose to chant anti Allam stuff against Derby should have done so against WBA.
This who didn’t, shouldn’t
I have no issue with those that either haven’t wanted to protest at all or have decided not to protest following some substantial changes...so yes those people who fit into either category shouldn’t have chanted against Derby. Some didn’t and my only issue is with those that did then but somehow had a Damascus moment between then and yesterday.

bad defending from the corner but a great strike

People seem to believe the Allams are genuine in what they're doing. That absolutely shocks me. What will it take for people to learn from history?

That olive branch is ****ing poisonous.

Stick it up their ****ing arse <ok>

I want to see the Allams engage positively with the Trust before I will even begin to think they have changed.
They are still doing "whats morally right for them", it just so happens that whats right for them happens to be popular at the moment.
as George Santayana said "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

For a harmonious campaign and a hope that a greater crowd and a more positive outlook may well help sell the club, I’m prepared to see the positivity continue.

It’s better than previous, not perfect, but definitely better. Surely that’s better for potential buyers too. Rather than seeing a club on a downward spiral with so much negativity surrounding it?

Whether it’s poisonous or not, it’s more conducive to delivering results on the pitch.

I welcome the positive things that have been done recently, because it's good for the people who still want to go and enjoy their football. Honestly, I'm all for it. I just know there will be a sting in the tail.

You do too.

Burnsy said yesterday that he was the driving force, in fact, he used that exact phrase.

I like what McCann is trying to do. On and off the pitch. Some of his substitutions I could question, but he’s quickly recognised what needed to be done off the pitch. He seems a very strong character, stronger than Adkins and he doesn’t seem like he’ll accept the deterioration that had set in. It won’t please some I’m sure.

Maybe, but for the sake of the team and the manager I’m prepared to give the benefit of the doubt.

Same as against qpr
Very disappointing

I can't recall ever seeing a team deliberately leave 2 v 1 on short corners. It's just the done thing, if you see two of them taking it you send two defenders to close them down. It's utterly bizarre that we keep doing it and then not learning from it when it keeps leading to a near miss followed by a goal.

Really annoying yesterday because we were matching them. They're a good side but they created nothing outside of that short corner. Once they were on top it was always going to be a struggle to stop them just managing the game to its conclusion, but we never should have gone behind as easily as that.

Can't understand how McCann believes that Lopes and Honeyman offer more to City's midfield than Stewart and Batty? Of course they are his signings so he's bound to select them. Also playing Bowen out of position to accommodate Bowler is poor management. Although the lack of a decent No.9 means that you can forgive this decision somewhat.

Can’t agree with this. Da Silva Lopes has been excellent since he started getting a regular berth and was good yesterday. Alongside him, Stewart looked sluggish. I’d have been tempted to do a straight swap Stewart for Toral so as not to break up the Irvine/Lopes fulcrum that was working so well. That said, I agree that Batty knocks Honeyman into a cocked hat. The latter is energetic enough but not enough end product.
