If the Tories and their right wing media allies keep on shouting loudly about Labour then Boris's hiding of the Russian report might be ignored ! Surely the suspicion that Russians may have been involved in influencing British politics should infuriate the blue rinse brigade, with all their talk about sovereignty, but apparently it doesn't matter to them.
It is Labour Party members and former senior Labour politicians that are severely damaging Labour's election chances. They know the press will report their comments, even the biased Guardian has to report the worst. Labour are self destructing, Blair and Campbell must be either laughing or crying.
Those that have seen the report give the opinion that any Russian involvement had very little effect. It will be released after the normal time frame.

There is more chance of Momentum receiving dodgy Russian cash than the EU referendum / UK election results being materially influenced.

There is plenty of evidence connecting the KGB with paying senior union leaders in the past such as Jack Jones, confidant of Harold Wilson & Jim Callaghan. Momentum has many extreme left components, not hard to imagine funds slipping their way to influence the shape of the Labour Party.
You're rather confusing the USSR with the mafia capitalism of the modern Russia SH. Russia, as it is today, has no interest in the propagation of hard left ideology, but is far more interested in helping to break up the EU. I doubt if the modern Kremlin has any interest in the Labour Party whatsoever. The bedfellows of the modern Kremlin are people like Marine le Pen and Nigel Farage.
You really are struggling a bit here SH.. Margaret Thatcher stood up in Parliament and told the MPs that there was no evidence to suggest that MI5 or Russians had been involved in trying to subvert the government led by Wilson. I don't think that you quoting rumours that were found to be untrue 45 years ago has much bearing on the current situation. It is the right wing parties across Europe who are being funded by the Kremlin. They are quite open about it sometimes, such as when they took Le Pen to court to try and reclaim it. By wishing to see the breakup of Europe you are part of this push by the "Reds" that you are so fearful of.

If Putin is funding Momentum to complete the takeover of the Labour Party he might soon be asking for his money back as the Labour Party slips into obscurity. He should concentrate on France where he is having much more success.
What evidence have you got that he is interested in funding left wing parties when all the evidence suggests it is the right wing parties? What we do know for sure is that Russians are contributing to the Tory party funds.
If the Russians are financing Le Pen's party they appear to be getting their moneys worth as her popularity is rising. Macron has also moved far to the right to adopt some of her policies on immigration. Macron is now going to introduce quotas on numbers and deprive basic access to medical care for three months. The socialists have described the moves as 'politically cynical, scandalous from the human angle and irresponsible when it comes to public heath'
