A lot are saying but it’s not a takeover. I truly can’t remember any one from the club talking about a takeover rather than investment. I’m very happy to be proved wrong though

Meh got no time for people like that who argue for the sake of it.. We should all be happy!

I'm bloody buzzing tbh considering where they are wanting to invest we are setting solid foundations. It won't change instantly but Rome wasn't build in a day.

Also they say it's an 8 figure sum that has been invested so surely that has got to be at least 100m?

That would be a nine figure sum.

Not bothered just happy now

As are all the proper lads fans and not the little moaning bitches, luckily none on here.

Really glad found this forum like tbh!

Saturday should be bouncing hopefully hope they lads put in a performance and turn over Southend.

Will this be Sol's first official match as their manager?

I had to google it myself.

Still means at least 10m and that is a hell of a lot of money especially when it's going on the foundations of the club.

Maybe we will now be able to keep a hold of these youngsters that Man U etc keep pinching.

Love Sunderland me like so happy!

Can you paraphrase that. How long ago was it and what has happened since? Thanks in advance etc

Was a piece in one of the local rags a month or so back about their involvement there. A lot of money ploughed into investing in the training and youth players set-up. Can't find it atm.

@janey

You posted a link to a wooly hat not long ago, do they do kids sizes?

If so can you post me the link to the website again please?

Yes, and the current 3 owners have increased their investment in the club too. It could be double that.

He will he loves it, he's not actually my bairn just call him the youngin as he's my nephew but his dad is a bit of an arse so he looks up to me.

His dad is also a mag but I have converted the youngin to a lads fan, feel great pride in doing so and I know my dad will be looking down saying well done son to myself :emoticon-0100-smile

Only thing is he maybe on some part of the spectrum of autism you can't tell but when it gets too loud he doesn't like it. Had to leave early on the Wimbledon game so missed the last goal hence why wouldn't mind looking into those sensory rooms for him.

Today’s news is great news and hopefully just the beginning.
We needed this news as too many people were turning against Donald and Methven.
Have to admit, I was starting to think it was not happening.
So, it’s happened and hopefully everyone will now get behind the new management team and the players who need to get their act together.
