Talking to other Charlton fans on the train home yesterday and everyone was in agreement - how good and exciting has this season been so far, particularly away from home

. It’s what is all about. Visiting decent stadiums with a sizeable away following and watching a passionate and committed group of Charlton players. It’s a light year away from the travails under Slade and Robinson in League 1.
From the sweltering heat on the opening day at Blackburn, when we first saw how good Conor was, to the gritty comeback at Barnsley, to the sell out at Reading, to the fight back at Fulham, and then yesterday’s dirty thriller at West Brom, it seems like every away day is a cracker at moment. And it’s our favourite trip - to Millwall - next
One thing that stuck in my mind was Bowyer’s comment - that when he was a player at Charlton there was a mutual respect between the players and the fans, and that that had been lost when he came back under Robinson.
That mutual respect has now returned
