If the info smug has had is right there quite possibly won't be a plane, he's suggested it's just going to be a statement getting released rather than a press event or anything, so it's probably unlikely that they need to come to the UK. Just hope any statement has some decent information in it or we'll still be scrabbling about trying to work out who is involved and what it all means!

I put a comment on the "The Irish are coming" thread that CM had said that it was MSD and that the deal was imminent. It was at a Sedgefield Supporters Club talk in, along with Bally and Horswill, who actually put the question direct to CM himself, with the comment of the "3 Americans".

If what I was shown was the final statement, not just a draft, I think people will be pleased.

It's at the point where they'll lose people's patience if they don't make a statement soon.

‘Your sort’. What do you even know about me like ? Dear me. Ridiculous. I don’t mention Byrne cos she’s a woman, only because she was a lawyer making football appointments who made some bad ones. I’d argue Quinn’s football appointments (Keane / Bruce) did ok. Better than subsequent. I’d also say Bain and Donald have made a hash of things and they happen to men. Of course it has to be the right person but someone with experience in football and or football decisions is a gap might now.. Chill your (refried) beans lad

Whilst some may think that SD and co have made some bad decisions they haven't doen anything illegal. I for one think that they are genuinely doing the best for the club that they can but sadly that's not enough for some of our "fans"

Onwards and upwards and the naysayers can rot in hell.

I'm not the biggest fan of the owners but credit where credit is due when these guys have taken over. Hoping for news tomorrow morning
