Really,No.. she took up Stephen Cartwrights proposal.. she works in Jackie Whites now... the grocers where the toy shop was
Apology accepted.
Lot of truth there but I dont believe there is much in the way of large returns from football.I think we'll rank quite well in their portfolio if we get back to the prem.. Turning SAFC around will be some achievement for people who thrive on taking distressed companies and turning them into world beaters.
Good to see Martin Bain's hard work here has payed off for himself. Nice job in India, he will be ****ting on street corners and getting chased by rabies ridden dogs whilst shopping for his face cream and nail polishWarning ( especially for rtg lurkers) ..positive post
Just reread the echo article about msd and the Marlins investment.
Some observations.
Firstly it isnt msd it is a different investment group albeit with familiar names ie FFP (with Dell a passive investor)
Most probably that is already know.
MSD only have just under 8% of the shares so are very much a minority. They can ( and I reckon they will ) withdraw after 5 years and get their money back with interest.
They have seen and been part of a major overhaul as to how a major sporting enterprise could and should run, ie
Jeter and Jordan are part of the syndicate and apart from their past sporting prowess ( both hall of famers) neither are slouches when it comes to investing in sports franchises.
Hopefully ( in the near future ) we will be privy to best practice re

In my mind this can only bode well for our club, albeit I doubt these lads take any prisoners where their money is involved.
No more charlatans like Bain taking the pi55 for 2 years and then getting a humungous pay out.
No more allowing failed and failing managers to stay past their 'best use by' date.
No more allowing kids like maja to go on the cheap and then replacing them with more expensive ( add much older, unfit and injured ) duds with no resale value.
I realise some of you pan me for negativity.
But you too may forget where you have put your meds and come over all hare Krishna one of these days
Thing is I suppose from shorts perspective bain was a 'football man'.Good to see Martin Bain's hard work here has payed off for himself. Nice job in India, he will be ****ting on street corners and getting chased by rabies ridden dogs whilst shopping for his face cream and nail polish
I prefer Muller rice
I preferred treasure hunt with Anneka Rice
I hope and suspect that the involvement of FPP will be structured in a different way to the Marlins. Other than that difference I agree with the rest of the post, it seems from the outside looking in massive change is required to allow the club to climb the leagues.Warning ( especially for rtg lurkers) ..positive post

I heard that was Stu’s money, but wouldn’t be surprised if it transpires it was theirs.
Oh I think they will eventually be much more hands on with us.I hope and suspect that the involvement of FPP will be structured in a different way to the Marlins. He doesn't say it's a mess behind the scenes. He says it seems a mess.

Cheers pleased your back2 successive relegations and failure to get out this ****e league has cost me my faith in the club mate. Nice to hear from you again though Vince
Thing is I suppose from shorts perspective bain was a 'football man'.
He had a very very senior job at rangers ( admittedly a falling or fallen giant ) at the time. He then was CEO at a senior club in Israel ( Maccabi iirc ). By the standards of most ceo's in football he was more than qualified ( on paper ) for the role. The likes of levy, kenyon, Woodward all came from non football professions yet are highly regarded. How often do we hear we want someone who understands or is a football man.
Bain was 24 carat dog5hit.
Bet you though in an interview he could talk the green off a leaf.
As long as he is thousands of miles away from us I am happy
We've gone backwards in my viewI think the top and bottom of the matter is we are not good enough, werent last season and its carried over into this season.
genuinely see us being in this division for the foreseeable future.

Certainly at full back and apart from McNulty I don't think we've improved anywhere elseWe've gone backwards in my view
Too much chopping and changing from day one, the pre season planning, if there was any, did not last for 45 minutes. The seriously bad start was not rectified and led the crisis of confidence, Ross and his backroom staff were clueless, and had no answers. We've gone backwards in my view
