It's weird how everyone has got twitchy about what they post when it comes to rumours. It's at the point where literally nothing gets posted, even though everyone is reading it :D I'll be honest, it's a little bit the fault of the people making up wild accusations, and a little bit the fault of SD and co getting overly litigious and putting the wind up RTG etc when the reality is that it'd be on the person posting.

Just a casual and obvious thing...

There’s no company called ‘Energy Checker’, if they just mean ‘some energy check company’ then I point them to one of the clubs principle partners, Utilita.

There’s be a clear and immediate conflict, to at alone says ‘horse ****’ to me.

‘Let’s bring money money in by losing it elsewhere’. No, that’s not realistic.
 
Here it is again without the names, lol!

Holy **** – just got off the phone with **** who’s in the red and white army and the SAFC business forum at the club and he’s given me the update on how it went down over the last few weeks man!!! We really are a shower of ****e. He sits with **********in the red and white forum.

********* has been sacked today as apparently, he is one of the main reasons the deal with the yanks went pop.********** (think that’s his name) has also been sacked as well as he was part of it also.

Apparently, they ****ed up the naming rights to the stadium of light earlier in the year – the deal was done with a company called Energy Checker for a 5-year contract and they ****ed that up due to being greedy and trying to play two companies off against each other and it massively backfired.

******** got a text that Thursday night from ******* saying the deal with the yanks would be confirmed within the next two days. That’s why all the fan network broke the next and had t-shirts made and fanzines printed with DELL all over them. Then they ****ed it up being greedy.

It gets even worse regarding the management appointment…..

So they only wanted to get a manager until the end of the season and went to Ainsworth and he didn’t want to leave a job for 6months which is understandable. He apparently wanted a 2-year deal minimum. They ****ed him off and tried the same with Parkinson and he rejected it. They then went back to Ainsworth and offered him the 2 year deal that he wanted but he told Sunderland to **** off for messing him around so the club want back to offer Parkinson and offered him 18 months and he said he would only take the job on a 2.5yr contract. They offered him that. FFS


Ohh and to top it off – Netflix show isn’t going to be released unless they take out the January transfer window footage from last season as apparently ***** and ****** look horrifically embarrassing and haven’t got a clue what they are doing. The production team are saying they need to show a true reflection of the club and refused to take it out. The club are threatening to sue them if its released so it’s being parked until resolved.

There is a South Shields based company called The Energy Check but looking at their published financials I can't see them having the money to sponsor the stadium

There’s a whole bunch of them in the region, NGP being the biggest.

There’s a clear conflict, Utilita signed an extension in the summer and are on the ****ing shirts.

Was never happening that, absolute bullshit.

He may have disapproved of things he knew had or had not happened ?
At the end of the day he is a MLF, no doubt. He had his dream job but maybe it had turned sour recently.
I do not buy this missing home crack.

Agreed. I've only spoken to Davison once (just at the first RAWA AGM) and he came across as a thoroughly canny bloke and had time for everyone. I know that means nowt, but if someone is slating his reputation unfairly it's a disgrace. If he was sacked there's no way Methven would have been so gushing in his praise, even if they officially went down the "mutual decision because of family reasons" line they wouldn't have added any of the stuff about how they hope to welcome him back loads of times in the upcoming years and the likes. They might not want to admit he was sacked, but there'd be no reason to be so gushing in praise. I'm about as certain as can be that he wasn't sacked. Whether him leaving was purely due to wanting to be closer to his family or whether the Americans want their own person in the team and they came to an amicable arrangement god knows, but suggesting he's incompetent and was sacked is a ****ing disgrace. Just invest or don't invest and end this ****ing ****e ffs
