Maybe not but you are proud to be English right? Or British?
Who’s hacked this account?
Yeah and that's my point mate, why are you proud to be born somewhere? You had literally no say in it. Makes no sense to me.of course I'm proud to be English and British, it still don't void my opinion on the Union.
If I'm completing forms, I state I'm British
If I'm asked abroad I will say Inglese, simply that it is easier to define and understand than saying British.
Yeah and that's my point mate, why are you proud to be born somewhere? You had literally no say in it. Makes no sense to me.
Being proud of your culture and heritage is different. You're a part of that so can be proud.
But a country?
It's no different than being proud to be black or proud to be white, why are people proud of a colour ffs. Their culture yeah I get that.
If everyone had this attitude a lot of crap would be avoided.
Nationalsim for me is no different from Racism, its just championed instead of vilified.
My team is a choice. How is Nationalism racism, we are multi cultural country! How do you define your football team, Merseyside or Liverpool....if you say Liverpool are you being racist against Everton?
My team is a choice.
Where I was born was not.
Yeah why not, got you triggered, all because of your nonsensical English pride.Your club killed 39 supporters, are you proud of that, all because of the name LIVERPOOL.
Do you really want to continue this line?

Yeah why not, got you triggered, all because of your nonsensical English pride.

OK tell me why you're proud of being born in England? What exactly do you have to be proud of? The fact your ancestors shagged some other random ancestor and made you here?So I can't be English and proud because that is racist. But it's ok to be Liverpool and proud and kill supporters in the name of it. What a fooked up logic.

OK tell me why you're proud of being born in England? What exactly do you have to be proud of? The fact your ancestors shagged some other random ancestor and made you here?
That's ****ing dumb as **** bro.

That would prove how your Nationalism is a problemIdiot. You're boring me now. I might thread ban you![]()

WW2 & the Falklands were the only wars we've fought for freedom, the rest have been about oppression and control. WW1 was about empire expansion and a family squabble.Always makes me shake my head when people knock the poppy. Many people that knock it, wouldn't have had the freedom too, if it weren't for people from all walks of life, that gave their lives.
Problem is as the two great wars fade from memory, so does the respect.
Men dug the trenches, that for many was to be their burial ground, but a new dawn arose, when the turn soil gave new life to the germination of the poppy seeds.
They don't look so jolly and proud now.

Those political pygmies just don't get it Joe. They stick on a poppy around this time every year and think it shows their support for the "heroes" in our armed forces.
What the poppy really symbolizes is the utter disdain our government hold the armed forces in. It was started as a way to raise money for veterans of WWl who came back to blighty and were thrown on the scrap heap of 1920s Britain, forced to beg for work, food and live in slums.
The fact that it still needs to be sold 100 years later to help our current crop of invalided veterans who have been discarded by their masters is fùcking shameful.
There should be no need for charities like the poppy fund or help for heroes. The fact that there is tells you all you need to know about what our Government/establishment really thinks about our "heroes"
of course I'm proud to be English and British, it still don't void my opinion on the Union.
