You should try reading closer, I was insulted as a racist for being a Nationalist....my response is based on he is a Liverpool supporter, so does in the same context he used, make him a killer?

That’s fine, but nationalism as a term is always going to have that connotation, rightly or wrongly.

 

You absolutely were not insulted. He said, in his view, nationalism is no different from racism I.e. he sees love of your country over all others no different to love of your race over all others. No way is that even close to calling you a racist.

Nationalism and patriotism are two different things. I think they’re getting mixed up here somewhere.

I simply don't use the word patriotism because I see that more as an American derived term. Just as simple as that really.
