I’d suggest that this week, accepting the agenda of their critics, is exactly what they’ve been doing.

What part of the agenda have they accepted?

Some kind of a token concession scheme for one match I think.

Don't see many other nods to the agenda.

When did the parachute payments run out? Was it a couple of weeks ago?

Maybe there is a new marketing person in place .....

Yeah that reminds me of the boycott we had in the late 70s and early 80s when many went to watch RL in protest about the way City was being run at the time

They were forced into reintroducing concessions for members, despite Ehab’s efforts to sway the vote by making thousands move seats again.

A year ago, who would have expected an apology live on local radio?

Well the bloke's a liar and a bullshitter isn't he?

Do you think he really is sorry on that basis?

More importantly, how the **** does this make a difference unless you are some kind of thin-skinned weak **** who makes big decisions on the back of flippant sound bites from club owners?

Just excuses for some people to take the moral high ground and act all offended.

So now he's said sorry and now they can all come back.

Or rather, they won't because there'll be summat else on their long list of grievances and reasons not to attend that prevents them from doing this.

Stock in trade ploy for third rate forum warriors, and tacit admission of defeat.

If only we had a computer database where everyone could enter all their own details of just how long, how many times, at what cost they have followed city. ah well.

it’s great to hear that you fingered the Allams as wrong ‘uns such a long time ago. Odd then, that you have now swung into the ‘new owners might be worse, best stick with what we’ve got’ camp.

It’s almost as if you are just a contrarian, validating your statements through the arguments and ructions they cause.

I didn’t say it was genuine, you asked what his motivation was and I said it was an attempt to get fans back on side.

I doubt it will have a major effect, but it will probably have some and most thought it highly unlikely we’d ever get an apology, genuine or not.
