Any investment from these people would be amazing news for the long term future of the club, if they take a minority share I think it's news that is nearly as good as hearing they've taken 100

I'm a bit anxious about the AoL stuff, some are sounding positive because Methven indicated something was still happening when he was at an SAFC business event yesterday. Not that I don't trust Methven, but if the talks had broken down I doubt he'd have said anything in that forum, wouldn't sound great so I imagine he'd probably just say "ongoing" for now and let Donald give the bad news later!

Looks like due to reservations they have backed off from a full immediate takeover, but are still keen to come on board gradually, all signs point to this.
Was it ever a takeover? All we know is Donald always said investment, then spoke about a takeover, now he’s back to investment.
Arguably, keeping the owners in place and funnelling money in as appropriate is better than a full takeover for right now.
That’s how I’m reading all of this and all the signs are pointing that way.

The deal is one and off, it's either dell or his marras or both, steward Donald is class and ****e, Methven is a snake but said something positive, Ross is coming back, Lescott never actually left and eboue has been hiding in a recycling bin at the aol offices looking for his original birth certificate... I agree that what you've posted sounds perfectly plausible, just one thing though, has he ever said takeover? He might have done like but I thought he'd always just said investment?
