It's also fraud if you are not that person or do not have that persons permission to set the company up.
I'm not saying a WUM fraudulently set up the company. I'm saying it's not a big deal for FPP to set up a company just in case. If the deal doesn't happen it's just £8 and a 1 page form to close it.

Yeah, definitely not a big deal, but they also set up a company in Delaware as well. Again not a big thing, but would be entirely pointless if their interest wasn't genuine imo.

This.

'What we can do
We can only assist with issues that involve forms being filed at Companies House, so you should get in touch with us if you have concerns that:

  • a registered office has been changed without the company’s knowledge or consent
  • an individual has been appointed as an officer without their knowledge or consent
  • a company name has been changed without permission
  • an unauthorised address is being used for a registered office or officer’s service address'
You miss the point. It's easy for FPP to set up with SD permission. Not talking about a wind up.

It's so easy to set up a new company using anyone's address and using anyone's names. Takes 5 minutes and £12. Nothing is checked. Then after 1 or 2 days You get emailed a certificate. Then nothing is required for 12 months.

Please tell me you weren't basing your confidence on the deal being sealed on this?
So do you think the Companies House information is a hoax?

Ronnie

Thank you. What is weird about asking you not to use the word **** ?
I have always rated you as a poster but no need for that.
It's a football forum, we are all grown ups, people use words like that.
I am really not in the business of thinking about the sensibilities of others especially when it comes to my club

Not sure it matters a jot, but someone has either had a change of heart, or a slap on the wrist, as ALS don't have the SunDELLand t shirts on sale on their website anymore

That's fine. In my opinion though, going to the trouble of setting up the companies, getting permission from Donald to use the stadium as the address says that the interest was concrete and that negotiations were quite advanced. Again, just my opinion though.

If you look on their Twitter feeds you’ll also see that the stuff they posted that Thursday with pictures of Allardyce and the Americans flag have also been deleted.

No, I'm not saying it's a hoax. I'm just saying it's easy to set up just in case needed. Takes 1 to 2 days to get the certificate through though, so can't leave it until the last minute.

Of course it does.

Folk saying ‘well it’s easy and takes 5 minutes’.

Exactly, why would you do it on the off chance?

You wouldn’t.

Quite advanced yes, but not much trouble.

"Pease tell me you weren't basing your confidence on the deal being sealed on this?"

Well of course not, that would be idiotic.

You've made a good explanation but seem to have completely missed what I actually said ...

... no problem.

It would have been quite expensive though, these fellas will use the best lawyers money can buy, they wouldn't do it themselves I'd guess.
