I feel deflated TBH, but am not throwing in the towel just yet. Things can change quickly during the final stages of deals. I pray it's just that, and we have something to celebrate.

Most of a bottle of vat 69 on a dan air flight to Corfu in 1990. I remember getting on the plane and then waking up in the digs 18 hours later covered in cuts and contusions. I have vague memories of falling down the stairs of the plane (smashing my ghetto blaster in the process) and throwing toilet rolls at some Scottish birds on the transfer bus. On the plus side it broke the ice and I ended up banging one of them a few days later which was the only positive from the whole experience.

Nah, I think it was just very, very premature. I likened it to hearing that a mate had made a successful bid for a house. I might text and say "well done on getting the house mate" or something, he might say "thanks mate". In reality though he's not actually bought it, there might be something in the survey that makes him walk away, any number of things might crop up. With the bid accepted they no doubt thought it was going to happen, somethings obviously changed that
