Start of the downfall when Hutch went. Though I think Reyna was a great buy, he was just made of celery.
He certainly didn't bust a gut once he'd decided to leave! That said he was a great striker and put in an excellent stint here until then but that doesn't make him the man for the job afaic.
Your facts re Bould may be correct but there was no doubt that he was a massively positive influence here. I'd be inclined to agree with you re Schwarz
I'm starting to think I'll be disappointed if it's not Stendel - which is a bit weird as I'd never heard of him before Tuesday!
Probably just as weird that you hadn't heard of him considering that he was the manager of one of the teams that beat us to promotion.
Stendel for me all day long, Barnsley fans were devastated to lose him...super Kev as head coach and particularly striker coach, Grigg would do well with him here....hopefully
The fitness issue has been picked up by several posters, me included, why are a majority blowing out of their arses after an hour ? Nothing should be left on the pitch, could it be weak mentality?
It would be a no brainer for me, he's available, he's free, he's got the experience, he's taken Barnsley up from this ****ty league, and he likes a pint
That was my point really and probably indicative of my level of interest in any club other than Sunderland. This recruitment is certainly expanding my knowledge of lower league managers(probably only temporary knowledge) - I even know that Ainsworth manages Wycombe(and hopefully he continues to do so)
