This is all madder by each mad day. I'm being told now that it'll be investment at first, Allardyce in and a takeover when we reach the PL. They want SD to do all the donkey work then put their own people in later rather than sooner. I suppose, why would anyone want to trudge around Fleetwood and Accrington tbh. An investment of a few million would be all it takes to sack Ross, bring in someone capable and get us promoted.

This info was from a mate BTW, no one connected but he's had times when he's been right.

In my 47 years of following this club up and down the country, I thought I'd seen and heard it all, like the Pools Panel, awarding us a draw, away to Tranmere, and then Malcolm Crosby, getting sacked after that Pools panel result, and then today, Ross getting the bullet, only hours before a home game - a correct decision to sack him imo, but the timing is all wrong.
I'm still hopeful that investment can be found with the Dell consortium.

It seems there are issues, and i'm unsure of the takeover/investment difference involved, but i would be shocked (I shouldn't be as a SAFC fan) if something isn't done. How or what kind of deal it is compared to what i hoped of at the start, then i'm a bit unsure still

I think it's clear there's an issue holding this deal up for quite some time from what he said talks are ongoing, but there's definitely an issue surrounding the details of the deal and it's not the price it's the politics surrounding the deal ..I think he's being offered money to get them the prem before a takeover happens and they want the takeover concluded in one go or something along those lines

He's always referred to it as "investment". It's us and the press that have called it a takeover
 
Might be a bit confused here;
SD says they bought it for £40m and maybe values it at that.
£25m was from parachute payment.
£10m was lent to Madrox.
£10m was loaned from Close Brothers.

£5m of own money was put in of which £3m was from Sartori?

Am I right/wrong in thinking that SD/CM/JS are trying to get c£40m from something they only put £5m into a year ago?
