Serious takeover talk

SD probably does not want to travel up with no game on.

 

Something might have cropped up to prevent him doing it then. An earlier post had him telling someone it would be done in days not weeks.

But he did say last week, we should know more in 1 -2 weeks. If he disappears from Twitter again, then we will know for sure

 

If it does go belly up, fingers will be pointing straight at him. Not only for the takeover potentially not happening but also the reason why there were leaks coming from the club about it being a done deal. It isn’t a good look and fans will rightly be pissed off.

 

I’m trying not to worry and tell myself the talk in timing might have had nothing to do with the takeover

 

It might be completely genuine and innocent the reason its been moved but I think with everyone up a height atm its understandable why people with myself included jump to conclusions.

He’s only posted once this week and that was to wish a fan who is coming over from Canada in Feb next year a safe trip and hoping to see them.

No. On the 7th of September he came up here with the clubs business advisor when there weren’t any games on. It was all over their Instagram account. Also the club would have been planning for the international weekend long before now based on previous call ups.

 

Let's hope so mate, you'd just think they must know how this will look so if there really was an innocent reason like that you'd think they'd just state that in the article to calm people down! The fact they haven't just means Donald will now be bombarded until he comments!

It was recently arranged though, do you not think he'd speak to his manager first to see if there was a chance of a postponement on the 11th?

 

It May be the announcement is next week and SD could do without the talk in when there will be press conferences podcasts to do etc.

Do the talk in when the dust has settled a bit and we we know more about the plan.

 

It doesn’t reflect very well on Donald cancelling the week before if it’s because the game has been cancelled. People will have made plans to go to the night and just cancelling is pretty poor form mind.
Time for a little leak to als or rr I feel or else the natives will be restless and make up that it’s going south quickly.

 

Yeah, maybe so, but he may have just assumed like a lot of the fans that the game would be played. Not saying it's the definite reason, just one possible explanation other than the negative one we all hope it isn't
