Always one <laugh>! GW Horners in Chester-le-Street. Not many pub bands get massive crowdds these days sadly! We do in the stockton area - have a big following over there. Normally take a few to GW Horners as it's just6 down the road from me and my family

I'm only jealous mate as I had drum lessons 10 years ago, loved it, but turned out I was ****.

Just wanted to thank you all for keeping me sane, rather than reading the ****e on RTG.

Been on there since 2002 (eek) and it is not just unreadable. Roger and Co. failure to deal with the petty, thread spoiling ****ers has tipped me over the edge.

Thanks to Smug for keeping me up to date and limiting my time at work actually doing work :1980_boogie_down:<badger>

HAWAY THE YANKS!

I have no idea what year it was, but I was on RTG when it was the FTM Executive board or something like that before it was renamed RTG. I used to go on the live chatroom for matches - speakeasy I think it was called, was really good crack back in the day, the internet was new and exciting and people genuinely seemed excited and in good spirits to be able to talk to other SAFC supporters (****in hell I sound like my Granda here, telling tales of when there was an actual Mill Field, and you could get proper taties from Plains' Farm)

I think it has steadily declined since they split the board into PF and SMB and it is just so bastard miserable on there now, with the usual suspects dominating every thread with absolute ****e. The whole reason I go on these boards is to find out a bit gossip or news, and appreciate the likes of @Smug in Boots passing on info.

A special mention to @Mr 55p for that cat as well

That was literally the first time I'd ever sung that song live!! Was nervous as hell as it was a new one. Been doing it over a year now and it goes down a storm everywhere - absolutely love the version

I’ve just realised there is a music forum in the entertainment section of the forum. It hasn’t had much traffic recently maybe we could chat about music on there, mind I am an old fogey !

SD talk in event has been postponed until 22nd November! Did he say 1-2 weeks or 1-2 months away?!
You must log in or register to see media

They’ve rearranged the talk in that was due next Friday to the end of November.

https://www.safc.com/news/club-news/2019/october/stewart-donald-talk-in-rescheduled

First time I've been worried. Most suspected it was to tie in with an announcement, this can't be good news (although hopefully just means things are going slower as opposed to collapsing!!). Hopefully Donald will comment, he's given the 1-2 weeks thing, people will feel quite right to be asking if this suggests issues

Nor me. If it’s gone south then it’s going to be a toxic atmosphere.

Really hope the cynic in me is proved wrong and this has nothing to do with anything falling through, as this makes him look so weak and he loses the fans.

lets just hope its a matter of a cluttered diary and the reasons are not worth worrying about.

Doesn't he always try and tie events in with when he is up here? Perhaps the free weekend caused by the international break is a chance for him to spend time with his family??
