Rumors started yesterday so must be false.

Not sure why we'd sack him now when in a few weeks we'll have the Budget to really make a statement. Something we're in no position to do if we sacked him now.

Hate his football, it's ****e, but the only way a sacking wouldn't be harsh is if new owners wanted their own man. So let's use that to get shot lol.

There's usually one or two knocking around at 'smaller' clubs that are getting noticed by this stage of the season but I can't think of any this season.

I’m not convinced either of them would be the right man to be fair Bri.
Houghton deserves a crack with a budget imo. Never seems to get a decent one but his team's always perform well and run through walls for him. His stats stand up as good as anybody concidering he never has a pot to piss in. Would do nicely until we got our first PL season under our belt. Then we can go all Monty with our manager shortlist
Ha, that would be surreal.

I do like Hughton and I do think he’s a good gaffer mate, I’m just not convinced he’s inspirational enough for what we need right now as a bit of a Phoenix.

Cowley was it. Always with the **** timing.

I disagree, I think the squad is good enough to go out there and express themselves attacking wise. Defensivly though we're desperate for somebody like him. All his players always run though walls for him so not sure why you think he doesn't inspire. Unless you mean inspiring the fans? In which case what does that even matter? we've become as fickle and deluded as any fan base out there. Sassy little hot and cold ****as us ya knar. A lump of ****e becomes a pot of gold if it wins on Saturday but returns to a pile of **** when we draw on Wednesday

Ain't that the truth. I hate seeing all that. Twitter is awful for it.

I do mean as fans.

You’re right though, he absolutely has a record of getting the best out of what he has, no argument there. I just don’t fancy him for it.

I wouldn’t be offended, and I’d back him.

I'd go for Bowyer, personally. What he's done with Charlton last couple years with little to no funds is nothing short of miraculous. He might be tempted by a big project at a huge club with massive funding. No disrespect to Charlton but, if these new owners come in, our potential is a hell of a lot higher than theirs right now.

Alternatively, Nathan Jones might be available soon. It's not gone well for him at Stoke but he knows this league and Luton played some cracking stuff last year.

He's been gone too long.

Roy Keane or is he too outspoken for the Yanks or is he too old school now?

Or perhaps the new owners would be like the previous one, being American and all that, and prefer that the Manager turned into work most days and learned to answer his phone.

Seriously, what has Keane achieved since he left us?

Someone on Twitter was suggesting Mike Tullberg, Borussia Dortmund II coach. It's a well-trodden path with David Wagner and Daniel Farke but I'm always sceptical about repeating what other clubs have done, it never seems to work out for us.

I don't think we're as fickle as all that mate.

People were obviously pleased to win at Accrington but I doubt anyone thought it was a great performance.

There's an underlying belief that we're not playing that well despite the odd good result.

I'll support the team at the matches but I don't have faith in the way we're playing or that we'll make the top two.

More Twitter bollocks saying that SD has identified Daniel Stendel as replacement. Apparently though, he's lost the dressing room at Barnsley.

Even worse - that lump of **** is to blame when things go wrong but the ones he puts on the field are the reason we win and not him! Annoys the hell out of me when our fans lay blame for a defeat at the manager's door every time yet we play well and win (I know doesn't happen much!) it's down to the players not the manager!

Yes, that winds me up too!! It seems to be a universal thing though, I've noticed it with other clubs.

Certain section is fella. Our fan base is all over the shop. Twitter is a crazy world atm. We had had videos of our fans sing about Gary Speed yesterday, classless. We've got that Sunderland TV interviewing knuckle draggers who are screaming foul language down the mic around kids. don't know what's going on in the heads of a small section of fan base.
