Pity next weeks home game is called off. What a time that would have been to make the announcement just prior to kick off. It surely would have given everybody a massive lift and left the fans in party mode.
I just love that the club is buzzing again at the minute.
The first 2 games were a massive concern but the turnaround and the takeover together, it just feels good at the minute.
Long may it continue.

Post of the day... imho![]()
We’ve lost one game. Unlike your lot I won’t be screaming out my fanny about it.
Soz Nads... didn't mean to upset you.
RTG are on a melt down though

I have just been through the user logs and 6 users have been banned today which must be something of a record on here.
I know emotions are high and some people have probably had a drink or three, but that is no excuse for some of the abusive posts we have seen today.
If you really can't reply to someone without being abusive, it's probably time to logoff before you get an enforced absence from the board.
Insulting the moderators is unlikely to help your case too. They are a tolerant bunch (perhaps too much so) and I know that despite what some people think, they don't like to go around dishing out warnings and bans, but calling them names will not help your case!
My own patience is wearing thin, so I hope we don't need to add to those 6 over the rest of the weekend.
So what did your mate have to say.....Well this is it for me, I've just been told that Glen Fuhrman, is the new Sunderland owner.
The fella who told me is a personal friend of Fuhrman and I'll be seeing him on Sunday for the full story.
That's all I know at the moment.
So what did your mate have to say.....

Sorry for the delay mate, I didn't think anyone was too interested tbh.
I posted genuine info and people started talking about their knobs as usual.
As you've asked, this is the latest. I won't bother explaining how I know, if people doubt me I don't care. I'm talking to people who believe what I'm saying because they know me or whatever.
The deal is done, the lawyers are just arguing over trivialities to boost their fees. Nothing can stop the deal. They've been taking football advice from someone English, experienced and in the game. The new owners will put in as much money as they are legally allowed, want the whole club shocked into serious action and are looking to create a long term community legacy. Ross and the coaches are treading on thin ice and promotion is expected as a given.
Thanks Smug - I read it on RTG anywaySorry for the delay mate, I didn't think anyone was too interested tbh.

If Ross fails the Pepsi challenge they're looking at two possible replacements.
One is available but the other, who's doing a good job in a higher division, obviously isn't.
I'd be happy with either but the second option would be phenomenal imo.
I can't say any more than that but it says a lot about these people that they're thinking along those lines.
Big Sam as option 1?
