Lamps has been given a three contract, which I think is excessive, bearing in mind that most of the 40 or 50 managerial appointments made by your club over the last decade have barely lasted a season.

What do you lads reckon?

Not wumming, genuinely interested.

Ladbrookes have opened a book on who will get sacked first - Little Ollie or Super Frank.

Who will you lads be putting your money on?

Not wumming, but genuinely interested.

Will be a difficult season but we’re fortunate I guess that United, Arsenal and Spurs are distinctly average too. We’re miles behind the top 2 and it will stay that this season I imagine. It does give us a season to see how good our youngsters are though and following on from that, a season back in the transfer market to add some quality to the squad.

I think it’ll be top 6 but nothing special, it’ll just be nice to see some of the academy get more minutes and the club just being a happier place in general imo. I liked Sarri but he definitely divided opinion but everybody’s mood just seems to have lifted with this appointment.

We’re strengthening our squad massively, for this season.

We’ll be miles ahead of your lot.

Trust me.

Just think, Frank has won as much in 1 day at Chelsea as Poch has in his entire career.

How much longer can he last without winning anything? Or is it just that Spurs are just happy to be taking part.

Not wumming, just genuinely interested...

That's a good point right there. Apart from Vamos, the last 20 managers have been, well let's say unambitious and soporific. But as you say Spud fans are happy with this and get more out of talking themselves up, alas only to fail.

That’s a good question.

Well, I think the view is that when we win our first trophy/title, the floodgates will open.

Therefore, the expectation is that Poch is going to be around for a long, long time.
