Mrs made baked haddock fillets, in a burnt butter sauce with onions, king prawns and capers. Mash potato and some veg.

Even managed no to have any booze.

Have basically been drunk since Friday night.

Was given a bottle of Sloe Gin as a present at a football presentation on Sunday.

Just had a nip. Very interesting! Feel very warm, amongst other things.

Any mixer ideas? Or is it a case of just having it in a flask for cockle warming nips?

Who the **** thinks of this stuff by the way? Got this Gin here, think I'll have a forage and stick some berries in, what's the worst thing could happen?

If i had it, it would give me more of(f) an excuse to drink tonic/

Went to bed at 2, woke up before 6, massive cramps in lower legs.

    That's been me up since.

First thing i did was a glass full of(f) salty water. Really salty i nearly puked, but it's an aged old proven method.

Indian tonic has quinine in it, which also helps, so bought some of(f) that

Used to make it back in the UK, also made sloe vodka. For me it’s a hip flask for cold days.

Was actually nice. Though the chicken skin doesn’t go crispy.

Had it with a baked potato cheese and coleslaw and some green beans.

Grill the skin before hand and add to the final dish.
