Don't get my wrong.I liked AN. Some of the articles and writing were great.but it had the taste of a mates chat room. Very cliquey and if you weren't in the group then you weren't in the group.

In their podcast this week they mentioned that the having to sit down and write TWTWT on a Sunday evening was tantamount to when you had to do your homework on a Sunday for the Monday morning at school. It had become a chore, rather than a pleasure. But as you say, that was probably largely having to write the same old about the Allam's, it had become tedious.

I totally agree , some great articles on there but the forum felt like a few people who all knew each other

That's maybe why it lost members and in the end nobody could be bothered to post on there. It's a shame, but there you go.

While not one of the reasons for ceasing, £40 a month for maintenance sounds a bit steep. I'd have expected to get change from a tenner, based on the sites I used to maintain a long time ago.

I agree about it being a chore though. I helped out with TOSS and the novelty wears off very quickly. To maintain the quality they have for all those years is impressive.

I'm gutted by this. They're really good at what they do and no one else is doing anything similar around City. It's probably the biggest dissenting voice gone so the club will be pleased.

Sounds like they can't. And for what it's worth I'm not a director of the trust any more. Nice idea though.
