Another rule from rugby which football should be adopting. Temporary substitutions for HIA’s. And **** off Salah you cheating ****.
My mouth dropped when he pointed to the spot. When he blew, I assumed he was about the pull out a yellow card for Salah for diving. Which Salah clearly did. (Contact or not, there is no way that Salah was hauled down like that.)
It’s one of those situations where even if it was a penalty, it shouldn’t be given because of the obvious dive.
For years I've wanted the rules to be changed, so that a player can be given a foul but still be booked for diving. It doesn't have to be such a black or white decision, or one of the other. But whilst I continue to wait - and to be honest, I'm always going to wait because I don't see such a rule change ever coming in - then yes I'm with you. The dive was bigger than the contact/foul. So the dive takes priority in my book.
There is no possible angle the ref could see any part of Salah for that penalty as the other defender covered his view at all times during that passage of play. He pointed to the spot the moment Salah went down, seriously re run it it’s a ****ing joke. This is the single reason I barely watch games nowadays compared to previous years. Salah is an utter disgrace to football and an embarrassment to Liverpool FC. He is also a cheating ****.
Cardiff and Brighton would have to gain points too Jasp.... Plus we have got Udders and the Mini-Skates at SMS. Plus Brighton have got Spuds, Arse and Citeh to play.
