It was IMO. Salah went down easily but Morrison was an idiot. No need to have his arms round Salah like that. Gave the referee every opportunity to point to the spot.
The ref should be giving it before he goes down imo.

Agreed. That would have taken any doubts away. The ref should be giving it before he goes down imo.

As Brendy said yesterday I've long thought that refs should be able to give a foul and book the attacker.

Chelsea's bitter tears are hilarious, but when did we get to this point that teams are meant to play the way the opposition wants? It's so ****ing irritating to hear Luiz moan about Burnleys' tactics - boo hoo, they didn't come piling forward so we could score more goals.
Maybe I'm senile and it's always been that way, but it's pathetic to hear club representatives make an argument that basically boils down to "we hate them, they didn't let us win."
This is the crux of the “big club” mentality which has pervaded football since its invention in 1992. Smaller clubs are only in the Premier League to serve as cannon fodder for the top 6.Fans often moan about negative football, but no team has to play to suit the opposition. Teams at the bottom value every point and staying in the EPL is arguably of more importance than the fight at the top from a financial point of view. Chelsea are where they deserve to be.....no one owes it to them.
