Still a long shot for Cardiff to hang on but they are nearly halfway there and Liverpool will become more frustrated as the match goes on. A Liverpool goal changes everything though. If Cardiff score then I would fancy then to get at least a draw.
My stream must be very slow. This has been easy for Cardiff. Nothing chances, no real penetration, you don't get points for possession!
Liverpool have had 2 one on ones with the keeper and a 6 yard effort from Mane over the bar. Cardiff are doing well but have benefitted from poor finishing.
So far so good but can't really see Cardiff holding out for the whole match, Niasse ain't gonna cause any problems either.
Although I want Liverpool to win, I wouldn't begrudge Cardiff getting a point. It would hardly change anything where we're concerned; from needing one more point to survive, we would need two. So still easily within our capabilities. But there is no way that I want Cardiff winning it. That would properly turn a two-horse relegation fight into a three-horse one. Liverpool weren't great in that half, but they probably should be 2-0 up.
Souness blaming the pitch for being slow, Cardiff at home are not going to help the Scousers by making it slick are they?...
Seeing that clown Souness cry at the end of the match will really make my Sunday, hopefully Cardiff get a blatantly offside goal.
