According to OS the women could secure the title with the next 2 games. AFC Bournemouth CST's 3-1 win at Winchester City Flyers means Saints remain second on goal difference, but with two games in hand, and four points from their two games this week will seal the title.
http://sportwitness.co.uk/i-play-future-player-says-hes-realised-southampton-transfer-status-air/ Clasie having a strop? That doesn't look good?
Er, he played pretty much every game he wasn't injured for Club Brugge and won the league? *oh wait, in fairness he was dropped near the end of the season. But then they nearly threw the title away, so... And he's been good for Feyernoord. No need to worry.
Not sure that Clasie would fit into Ralph’s style of play. He seldom completed 90 minutes when we weren’t a high pressing team, so does he have, or can he reach, the fitness levels Ralph needs?
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...hampton-plan-sign-British-players-summer.html Don't know where this has come from, but Southampton said to be keen to keep a British core to the squad....believing that familiarity with British football is an advantage. May be true at the level we can buy at...geniuses are geniuses, but perhaps it is more risky when signing decent players from another league. Anyway talking about a core....not a wholly British team. Shane Long will be thrilled to learn he is British ....though of course he does fulfil the criterion of being familiar with PL football.
I wouldn't mind this change of direction at all, our recent trips to the continent have been pretty disastrous but having heard Ralph mentioning that he want to focus on young players who he can develop The Daily Mail comes up with 30yo Scott Arfield...where did that come from?
Bit random but am actually going to an away game (Watford) for first time in a while and looking for some advice from anyone who has made trip before.. We are getting a train up to Clapham in the afternoon and then travelling across to either Watford High Street or Watford Junction. Not sure which train ticket to go for and how quick can expect to get back to Clapham after the game. Annoyingly there is a replacement bus service from Winchester if we fail to get on train from Clapham by about 23.00. Anyone know if there is a cats chance in hell of getting away from ground and on a train back to Clapham by then? Any tips greatly appreciated!
Daily Mail says it all. Shane Long British? Not a reliable source and may contaminate the unwary. Jab
Daily Mail making things up again. If anything I would imagine the opposite will be true. Ralph will want young talent and probably cant afford British young players. Exception perhaps being Che Adams for £15m due to B'hams financial situation.
I was thinking similar. Ralph might not want to overly restrict himself to primarily buying British. I would hate to lose Ralph as a result of this being true, (it’s the Mail) and him not agreeing to it. Thinking further ahead, would the rules for EU players, after Brexit, change to being in line with those of non EU players, stopping the lower quality, non international players from being allowed to play here? In which case buying British wouldn’t be a bad option, at least until the B word has been resolved, as we wouldn’t want a situation where we can’t play half the squad owing to a change in work permit rules.

Oh crikey, it's me again, isn't it? When do I need to think up something stupid for the match thread?
