I’m told they made a lot of changes in the previous rounds so I’m hopeful we catch them on an off day, it pisses down and we can just keep chucking balls in the box. We’ll probably get gubbed but I can dream.

If we win I’m not sure my liver will cope.

Sure. We will all dream. But as they say, it is the hope that kills you.

I admit that I am already looking forward to that game.

Well this is a full apology to Joel Lynch.

For the first goal, from where I sit it looked to me that the ball came to Lynch and he had a hard clumsy time getting it from under his feet to have a half shot at goal.
The highlights however show something very different, the ball comes to him awkwardly and bouncing and he has a hard job getting his large long body round to have a shot on goal, which by some art of contortion he does actually manage. The ball is shot at the goal and on target. The goalie is there and I suspect he would have saved it if Wells hadn't been there in front to just flick it under him. Lynch made that goal, I fully apologise to Joel Lynch for what I said last night.

And welcome back TED we have missed you...

I have just watched the 10 minute summary.

It was all QPR with the first (and only) Pompey attack at the very end. I am not sure if this was relflective of the game or biased editing.

We had some good movers and many chances. We also seem to be trying to shoot from distance more often than before. I have noticed this in the last few games.

It looked like a great game and am only sorry that I could not watch it live, or even better, be at LR.

Am I right that we have Bristol City away Tuesday...(just 3 days before/)….and then Watford will be 3 games in 6 days?!!!….if so maybe McLaren will rue loaning out all our youngsters because we will only be able to rest one or two...........

Hopefully he’ll just pick eleven random fans to play the Bristol game. Sombrero Man in goal.

I've been working in Bristol for about 3 years solid, about half a mile from Ashton gate. I'll be out of here on Friday and heading home. Not once has my being here coincided with us playing here.

Not biased editing. We were comfortable the whole game.
