I have a bad feeling about this game and think it will be 3.0 to Leicester. We have a crap defence, we've lost our best midfielder and have virtually no one up front of any consequence. PS I have noticed that when I am negative about a match we usually get something from it.
Not sure what we will get from Leicester and Everton...but would be great to get 3 or 4 points from those 2 matches....with really important games against relegation candidates coming up before the end of February. Not worried about Arsenal as they are a doddle.
Retrospective? So any goals scored by either team by or because of him in our previous 3 matches don’t count?
I’ve backed Saints and the draw - really don’t think we’ll lose. If we had any strikers I’d be more hopeful of getting all three points.
If we get three points today, I'll change my profile picture to one of Claude & leave it for the rest of the season. Take the bait football gods.........
Claude getting all emotional after Shane scored, maybe? A rare moment given how often Claude smiles and Shane scores. I like Claude btw. And Shane.
This is one of the rare occasions where I have no idea what's going to happen today. I wouldn't be surprised if we won, drew or lost. I also wouldn't be surprised if Long scored today.
^^^ This I think the showing last week was down to having a back 4, no protection from midfield and not the back 3/5 we are getting used to.
It is a shame that the fixture list could have really severe consequences this weekend and therefore anything less than a win will not be favourable. Leicester seem to have become a bogey team for us. With Newport doing them in the cup last week, I cannot see them putting in a similar, repeat performance and expect the match to be particularly tough. As Godders mentioned, there are too many key players missing today which is a concern. Regarding Puel, I think he serious cocked up with his team selection last week. If Vardy was in my squad, I would want him player week in, week out. We owe Leicester a battering but the King Power stadium is a difficult place to go to. The best hope is that the home team put in another erratic performance.
We haven’t scored at Leicester since they got promoted. Results have been 2-0 1-0 0-0 0-0 0-0 (Leicester won on pens) Shane long hasn’t scored this season and is our available first team striker. Time to change that
