Going to take courage...notably by the fans. Also going to take a bit of luck....we are due some. Start with an OG from Vardy.....and then another....and then another because we can't hold onto a 2-0 lead. That should do it. Just remembered the match against Tr*****e....4 OGs....not a lot to ask, is it?

so i believe that means our only available strikers are Barnes and Long. Alrighty then.

Play deep and compact to mitigate Vardy getting in behind, try to win the ball as they aimlessly pass it about midfield and counter quickly with Long. It sounds a bit like Puel might be at that stage he was with us where he lost the players and is losing the fans so frustrating them seems like the way to go.

Vestergaard header. 1-0 saints. Claude gets sacked. We get out of the drop zone.

Sims could be a good option. But what those pictures really highlight is we have no-one with the instinct to stick the ball in the net. Not a poacher amongst them. Saturday is going to be a slog.

Assuming you don't think Puel is a great manager wouldn't it be better if he DIDN'T get sacked? :bandit:

Sims has got to get a look in at some point

Armstrong is the closest thing we have to a poacher

Interesting that the cull hasn't touched Ely yet. Ralph :emoticon-0103-cool: may have seen something I haven't

This is the 1st time Ralph has had a whole week to prepare since the Arse and Udders games ... and we won both of them :emoticon-0126-nerd:
Lets hope that helps again here :1980_boogie_down:

Hopefully Redmond is still brimming with confidence because he will be our main goal threat.
I'm rather hoping there'll be 11+ players brimming with confidence otherwise we are doomed!! We just might get a result no-one has yet predicted, whatever, my radio and phone will be turned off from pre-kick-off until (maybe!!) Monday pm. A round of golf etc seems like a good way to re-direct one's attention/emotions when we're playing.

Ely's work rate and running are pretty good.
