Reading some of these comments anyone would think Saints are in the relegation zone having entered the second half of the season with no strikers available to field in a crucial game of football. Imagine! no strikers I mean really we are a Premier League club - yeah as in we are in the premier league?
Sounds a bit like you are damning him with faint praise given he's supposed to be an attacking MF However, maybe the Ralph sees that as useful attributes until he can get someone better or maybe its a confidence thing and he will get better with the ball On that subject - We are all talking about our undoubted need for a striker, but we also need someone else tricky like Nathan to create more opportunities for any striker, new or not
While damning him with faint praise a tad, it is a silver lining; Elyounoussi had an end product at one point no that long ago, and he still seems to be working hard, so there's still room for the tiniest bit of optimism. His utter inability to shoot, pass or control a ball has gotten more than a bit worrying however.
Harvey Barnes will score then redmond will equalise then someone else will score But for which team? I will tell you on sunday
Pretty classic Saints that when we get a manager that makes us play better we run out of strikers Shaney is our main goal hope in that respect. Cometh the hour, Cometh the small Irishman
A little harsh and a little fair. I think he is adapting to a new league, and we have a manager getting better performances out of him. Is he the ball playing speedy Kaiser that Ralph wants right now, may be not but he is keeping Wes out the line up so sometimes you gotta buckle up and go with what you got mate.
Yeah true, I'm half joking anyway as I understand that he's been a lot better recently. Was awful last week though.
Yeah he has played better lately than last week, I think we ****ed up a little in midfield on the goals also and didn't track runners. Little lapses in concentration but its a galaxy away from Hughes. I was really pissed off when we appointed him in the summer, but still gave him support but always felt it would end like it did.
Who would possibly think that is the case I really can't see us getting anything tomorrow. Leicester are one of our bogey sides now
