His initial offer which you’re talking about was withdrawn. I don’t know why. I think it was around the time Liverpool and Manchester United we’re having a sniff. I’d guess (just my opinion) Josh was advised to not sign anything yet to see where that interest goes, this annoyed the club (or Ehab) and they withdrew their offer.

The second, lesser offer near the end of the season was rejected by the player/agent. There was interest from Stoke and Villa (Watford were rumoured in the press but that was just a case of Silva heading there and Liverpool rumoured but that was just based on them having a look earlier in the season).

The scholarship extension wasn’t successful and he left to Stoke.

So, if that is the case then, the scholarship extension was just a vehicle to keep him, rather than just a derisory offer.

The second lower offer, if true, now sounds like (in hindsight) a smart move.

All in all, seems like a classic case of a head-being-turned by an agent.

Given this background I don't believe in risk, as you try everything you can to minimise risk but you can take managed risks. Personally throwing away thousands of pounds by staying at Hull City is not a managed risk in my eyes.
.

This is at the heart of where we differ.

Amongst other virtues, I value loyalty and happiness over money.

Is Tymon happy at Stoke? Or would he have been happier, earning less, at City?

Can everything be equated to money made? Is that what stability is? A financial stability?

Tymon's still only 19 and people are talking like his career's over.

I never went to University, I studied to become a Chartered Financial Advisor instead. No degree would allow me to do that so University was completely redundant for me. Numerous years studying, and now run my own firm and just starting another new firm all before the age of 30 so I wouldn't say I am doing badly without any student debt.

Your comparison is completely ludicrous given footballers get injured everyday, and footballers fall away and never make the grade annually. I would be surprised if many couldn't complete their degrees due to falling over scarves, but feel free to prove me wrong with facts.
And aren't you a prissy little ****.
Do you not get the anology.
The quick buck you would slavishly run to? No you don't.
As you appear a tad egocentric. You never will.
Money money money.

I’ll go further and say Keane will hit double figures for the season. There’s a player in there somewhere, as he proved at Leeds the other day.

When he played for Preston, at the away fixture, he ragged Dawson & Davies non-stop for the hour or so that he was on the pitch, he never gave them a minutes peace - there's definitely a player in there.

'I think many will have good careers if they stick at it. I'd put £ on Clark & Bowen going closest to City first team' A tweet from Rick in 2015.

On this note, I was on the Hull Kingston Radio fans forum ahead of the 16/17 season alongside Rick and I picked out Batty as the one who I thought would make it.

First thing any new owners should do is replace Darnborough with me.

Darnborough could be replaced with a candlestick and it would be just as useful.

So we’ve let Keane go in order to free up funds and or wages for another player, hope that’s not hollow promises from Enob.

Wonder who we’ve got lined up if true, Mason Greenwood on loan from United please
Knowing eNOB it will most likely be Paddy Greenwood !

Talking about City players moving away JUST for money how is Eldin getting on at Leicester ? (What a waste there, not even a bench warmer)
