And good luck as always from me Dave. You tell 'em to not screw up our date next season at the Vic. The dates around that fixture are fixed.

Well NZ kicked off with some nice fireworks :emoticon-0140-rofl: Hope you enjoyed it NZ. Next up Sydney and that bridge that can only have been designed for New Year fireworks :1980_boogie_down:

Must get texts timed right for my friend in Brisbane and others around the world. Really tricky with people all over the world.

In Spain you have to swallow 12 grapes as the clock chimes midnight. Great scare here as shops were running out of grapes. But luckily third supermarket still had some :)

Gracias hombre and to one and all. But Yorkie I hope you get to raise a mug of Yorkshire tea at midnight ;)<laugh>

Here in Cadiz the family are counting down to midnight and the eating of 12 grapes with each chime of the clock. I of course will celebrate again at 1 am local time with my London and the good folks of the Canaries :emoticon-0157-sun:

I like living here but at moments like this I do miss the English traditions and above all London. Even today I had to explain to a Spaniard that Whitesnake were Brit and not American :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:

But wherever you are I wish everyone a very positive new year full of hopes and dreams <cheers> And above all my pint with Dave at the Vic <hug>

Morning all. Another year, so another calendar. Very mild for a New year's day, and the friends from around the world are sending their best wishes. Great thing this internet. Great display of lights and fireworks in Paris at midnight, very different to London. We watched both, and saluted them with bubbly. So should I get back to some jobs today or not? I get bored watching old films, and the world indoor petanque championship is hardly fast and furious. I will think about it over another coffee.

Happy New Year everyone. Spent the day watching Xmas DVD's. Out for a couple of pints after Mrs Fez got home from work, fish and chip supper, various strong ales, Jools Holland, and a cocktail to see the new year in.
