Love the name.....Connor PAIN.....

Championship strugglers Hull are reportedly keen on the Central Coast Mariners star, as are League One duo Peterborough United and Scunthorpe.

With the January transfer window just a few weeks away, it is no surprise that Hull City appear to be looking at bringing another attacker to the KCom Stadium.

He's terrible.

Why indeed.

But even by our standards, it doesn't make sense. I'm not talking superlatively or incredulously, I just think it's either bollocks or he's better than some people are saying.

We wouldn't buy a player who is playing average for a **** club in a foreign league, there are plenty of homegrown players in League Two we could buy that aren't of the correct standard.

I watch most A-League games each week, I'm not talking him down.

For instance, De Silva who is on loan at Sydney from Central Coast is one who would be worth looking at. Was bought by Roma a few years ago but didn't kick on so is back down here but has big potential.

It just seems odd that we'd be connected to a player that is quite clearly not good enough. If he came over, what would his standard be?

We bought Weir and Keane in the Premier League, not sure our transfer policy follows any normal logic.

I seem to remember these 2 were at the time trying to make up numbers at the end of that terrible transfer window after Bruce went. There was a bit of money left after buying Mason, so these 2 were in the hope they would flourish and increase in value. well that didn't go to plan.

Yeah they were just desperate, cheap, last minute signings. That policy is exactly how we've fallen so far over the last 2 years.
