There are many more Madame Theresas than Mother Teresas in this world. The spectrum is heavily weighted towards one end. The self preservation pole.
I think you're being unfair. Any player playing for a bottom half Championship club would want to play for somebody like Sporting Lisbon. He was brought in as a PL player, he then had to drop down. He's proving to us that he's willing to put the hard yards in. All players are mercenaries, save for a few that are loyal throughout their careers, but they are few and far between in modern football. It isn't something to be used to beat him with.
Completely with you. He is an unbelievably talented player at this level, who had a good year last year if you look at the minutes he played. Involved in more goals per minute than any other olayer. Nigel needs to get the best out of him that's his job. Last few weeks he seems to be. He should start every single week, yeah he might be frustrating sometimes and look like he isn't trying. But then some games he will win us the three points on his own.
I've no problem with him wanting to play higher, it's his attitude I don't like and the fact he obvioiobv only plays well running upto windows and then sulks if he doesn't get a move and his form nose dives
It’s always the run up to a transfer window. That’s how the season works. He hasn’t sulked this season, I don’t remember him sulking last season. He didn’t have the best season last year, but that didn’t have anything to do with moving, he was injured and then the manager changed.
Since he came back into the fold, we’ve looked a completely different team, without him, we’re far weaker, he’s arguably our most important player. He deserve praise for the way he’s applied himself and played this season, I can’t believe some idiots are still slagging him off.
As per usual just because someone's view is different to you then they are "idiots" the way he has acted and continues to act with us is poor and if he's still here come Feb 1st he will sulk yet again. Yes we are much better with him in the team but he's doing that for one reason and one reason only..... that's my point FFS
That’s bollocks, there’s not been any issue with his attitude since his return, he’s been excellent. That includes in September, which can hardly be considered ‘close to the window opening’, not unless you’re an idiot.
You are a leading voice in the “why are Hull people so negative?” movement aren’t you? Somewhat ironic.
His attitude has been better this time so let's just forgive and forget his past behaviour! Let's see what happens if he's still here feb.
Once a player has a reputation for a bad attitude you never lose it even if there is no evidence to back up this claim. Since coming into the team there is literally no evidence to suggest he hasn't tried. It's a line trotted out time and time again about him and other players with no analysis whatsoever.
He’s allowed an opinion! There’s plenty of others that have said the same about KG! If this is the new turbo? Then we all need to ask “where the f’ck have you been? “ and No ones having him being injured as an excuse!
On deadline day Grosicki was in Turkey ready to transfer to a club there, and for whatever reason that fell through. Adkins gave him a week or two to get his head straight (a cursory glance at his personal life shows that Kamil is a bit highly strung, shall we say) and then introduced him back into the first team. He is now starting to thrive as a result. That’s my opinion. Open to criticism or support, just like everyone else’s.
Kamil is as highly strung as Robin Hoods bow no doubt. As to if he is a bit of a knob end who ****ing cares if he keeps slapping in goals like that. We need him.
I've never seen anybody suggest he is a bad apple and a negative influence on the dressing room, except for fans who have linked poor performances (coupled with high expectations), us being relegated and him saying he wants to leave. Players I've spoken to in the past have said he's a model pro towards younger players, he's a right laugh and a nice person. That doesn't really bother me, he could be a right **** for all I care, it just helps dispel the myth that he's problematic. The fans invented the idea that he had a bad attitude, because they thought he was playing badly because of a collapsed move. A bigger move collapsed this year, yet he's playing better than ever. Some of us need to remove the amber and black tinted glasses and see thing from an objective point of view. Kamil has played at a pretty high level; when we were relegated, he was obviously going to try and move away. He was injured, then he didn't come back strongly which lead to him being dropped in favour of Harry Wilson. He then found himself in a team that has been stripped back, with no investment and a frankly average manager, which sends the signal out that we aren't ambitious. I'm surprised more weren't trying to leave, to be honest. It's bollocks. He's no different to Robbo or Maguire in terms of wanting to leave. They didn't want to stay either, so why don't they get half the grief he does?
Did meyler have to tell robbo or Maguire to pipe down on twitter during deadline day because they where making themselfs look stupid. Yes I know it was part tounge in cheek but there was also a point behind it and I seem to remember most on here ripping turbo for it as well. Also robbo etc didn't make it so obvious but still play the kiss the badge game etc trying to look commited. He is a great talent and I'm glad he's playing well for us now, in the past and for however long he stays. But his attitude towards him looking for a move is imo a poor one..... But each to their own and all opinions will differ
