I actually didn’t really think he did. He had masses amount of pace and had that great run at Anfield and the two runs against Everton. Outside of that (ok, they were promising) I felt he didn’t really adapt. Maybe that was down to the coaches not giving him a chance, but I think we over hyped him a bit because he was one of our academy boys. A bit like Sam now.
I am happy for both Gabbi and Maya....for both playing and that Gabbi got a goal. Soft spot for both of them.....and that of course is the only way to pick a football team
Well we’ve tried the other ways, and they haven’t seemed to work too well, so yes, sign me up for that one!
That and the fact that they are arguably the best players we have in their respective positions, and nothing else we’ve been trying has justified their exclusion.
He gets taken down for the penalty here against Liverpool.... oh and stay watching for birthday boy Nick Holmes’ cracker!
Blimey. A midfielder scoring two goals in one game, rather than two goals in a season (if we’re lucky enough to have one as prolific as that, Hojbjerg excepted).
We should never have moved from The Dell*, we have never been as free scoring since moving to SMS (apart from Sunderland and Villa). *not seriously
