why do you need to be so dismissive of people disagreeing with you? your answer is as pointless as me saying you only think that cos you are still past caring since spurs spanked you lot 3 nil. I do not think Ramsey is better than Dele, Eriksen or Son...therefore he does not walk into the spurs midfield imo. If you think he does then maybe you could say who he replaces from those 3 starters....or you could just agree to disagree...or you could carry on alienating yourself from most posters on here...hey ho ... whatever rocks for boat Matth
He’d be a great squad player for you but agree I don’t see him as first choice unless it’s behind those three. With Silva probably in his last season at City I could see him taking the money and sitting on the bench there too with Foden going out on loan.
Not really sure what's happening with the Ramsey situation. He's said that he's staying at Arsenal until the end of the season, so we're not selling him in Jan. Would have thought the club would want to cash in on him (even though it wouldn't be more that £15-£20m given the contract situation) rather than lose him on a free. Unless they have withdrawn the offer for the previous contract and will look to renegotiate a new one at the end of the season ? I hope he stays personally.
Yeah it's weird how it's announced as 'staying until the end of the season' because 'contract talks have broken down'. So basically he's leaving in the Summer?
The whole situation is a bit odd really. First we were offering him a contract and he (his agent) was stalling, presumably for a better deal. So then the club pulled the offer. Presumably from that you'd think they'd sell him, but have now said that he's staying until the end of the season. None of it makes any sense really.
What? It's been announced that he's staying until the end of the season Matth, so I doubt they will sell him in January.
I hope he does. Apparently he said that he thought a deal was done with the club, to then learn that the contact offer had been withdrawn. Clearly a guy who's committed to the cause and he's now one of the few who've been at the club for a number of years. He's also been playing pretty well so far this season and looks like he's on form. Just doesn't make any sense, unless Emery has got plans to replace him. But in the current market you're looking at £50m+ to get a player of his calibre.
