Look at, and face the facts, people.

We are about to take occupation of the best football stadium in the world.

We have one of the best youth academies in the world.

We are going places.

It’s absolute bollocks. What they are good at is spotting talent developed by other clubs, further nurturing them and selling them on for a profit. Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy are good businessmen and they’re in the game to make money.

We’ve made a fair bit of dough from the academy in say the past decade. Kane’s the pinnacle of it but there’s been quite a few to come through who are now playing/ played Prem football. Could be wrong but I’d say only Southampton and Utd have produced and profited more from their academies in that time frame.
