If you use a toaster oven instead of a vertical toaster you can put the butter on the toast whilst it is toasting.
Butter should never be put on hot toast....sinks in....result flobbiness.
Result: lovely moistness through the toast
I always toast Warburton's seeded batch loaf and you get good moistness, but it still retains a bit of a crunch as well.
With Marmite of course, unless at lunchtime when it might be pate.
This is the standard of post that you want Every one to adhere to ?After saying I never have breakfast, I’ve just had a slice of toast with Marmite
I may do it again tomorrrow.
