If you use a toaster oven instead of a vertical toaster you can put the butter on the toast whilst it is toasting.
I always toast Warburton's seeded batch loaf and you get good moistness, but it still retains a bit of a crunch as well. With Marmite of course, unless at lunchtime when it might be pate.

@fatletiss Your melting the butter first then apply the jam tactic don’t work for me boss, still tastes weird, straight in the bin.
