I've watched a few recipes now on youtube. Come to the conclusion that Jamie Oliver is a twat and Gordon Ramsey may know what he's talking about!
Strangely, I can imagine that is nice. Don't like Marmite as it is salty, but boiled eggs need salt....so probably tasty.Marmite soldiers and dippy eggs for breakfast this morning........hhhmmmmnnn nom nom.

Only drink Twinings. Just found a cheapo shop on the Island that sells Twinings at a nice reduced price....and also sells my favourite Wykes cheese (which the major supermarkets have dropped).Very tasty Fran, washed down with a mug of twinnings tea![]()

Some things are just wrong...and nut- or chocolate-based products on toast are two of those.

No, not Earl Grey. Like a strong tea. I only drink coffee on holiday...as tea is usually poor abroad. My problem with coffee is that to me it is a food not a drink. It isn't refreshing and takes away my appetite. A cup of coffee would be virtually lunch to me.Are you an Earl Grey drinker Fran? If I drink tea I can only drink Earl Grey now with the smallest splash of milk. The reason I ask is that I only used to do Twinings too, but then I discovered Newby teas. The nicest Earl Grey you will ever have
I though have been Americanised and drink a lot more coffee nowadays.
Oliver’s still a great chef. Have a few of his books and he has some amazing recipes.
I don’t get the anti-Oliver brigade.

The workhorse blend is a great staple for any type of coffee maker.
Yes, I'm a coffee snob. Some things worth paying for!
I love it, but I also love the yeast extract made by Meridian, which tastes just as good.
With no Saints for another week and a half, I thought I would do a quick poll on Marmite
For what it is worth I LOVE it and it is my secret ingredient in my Bolognese (using my Mamma’s recipe).
