I get where your coming from and yes politicians aren't to be trusted, but it's no way similar, the 'magic money tree' was a soundbite created by conservatives and conservative spouting media, don't get me wrong I can understand people aren't at ease with Labour policy but they had a clear budget set out and if iirc Labour intended to clamp down on corporate tax avoidance which for me is one of the biggest issues in the UK where as the conservatives were a lot more aloof about where the funding was coming from especially considering as WWR has pointed out they had to find a huge amount to supplement the DUP and the strong implication that that little to no money would be given when leaving the EU. I totally get and accept that both Labour and the conservative party tell half truths and sometimes and skirt around things, but Farage takes it to a new level and gets called out regularly on his lies and made up figures to push his anti EU rhetoric.

So I was watching Sky news today and after 5 news stories I hear that mike barnier and the EU "We are prepared to offer Britain a partnership such as there never has been with any other third country." Mmm I notice it wasn't the top story? Can you imagine if it had said "EU offer UK a bad deal"? No one can tell me that these news stations don't have an agenda. I'm still waiting for the BBC to report it.

Alt Right shock Jock conspiracy theorist Alex Jones going to court in US in a litigation brought by one of the parents of a victim of Sandy Hook massacre. Jones has repeatedly claimed that Sandy Hook didn’t happen, whole thing was fabricated by the Obama administration to try and tighten up gun laws. The parents of the victims have been subject to horrific abuse, both online and to their faces, from the scum that follow this evil cretin, as if they weren’t suffering enough already. While poetic justice would be served by Jones facing execution by firing squad, which I would wholeheartedly support, the case is being debated as an issue of free speech. I am a total supporter of freedom of speech, including the right of idiots like Islamic fundamentalists to shout their opinions on street corners. But there is a pretty clear line between sharing your opinion/beliefs however moronic and inciting people to violence and downright lying to cause harm to others. This case falls into the latter category and has nothing to do with free speech in my view.
There was plenty on the BBC about it yesterday. Still, if the EU agree a deal based on the Chequers agreement, the 'Moggmeister' and his loony bunch will vote it down anyway.
My point was simply all politicians lie, and lie repeatedly. Farage is a consummate liar and contrary to his 'blokey' appearance is surrounded by a cabal of thugs who are essentially his minders, not a pleasant bunch at all, I've seen them at first hand. Corbyn is unreal, always made out to be a cuddly figure with his 'nicer politics', he is also happy to let his Momentum thugs do his dirty work for him. It's also amazing how poor his memory is when caught out, such as he was 'there but not involved'. I'm not taking any sides as my contempt for our politicians is beyond repair...

To be honest mate, most if not all multinational corporations are ****s.....in a strange way it might help a lot of people to actually realise they are ****s.....here’s hoping anyway.
Panasonic are moving 10 people to the EU for the time being, to hedge their bets over the Brexit outcome. Even extreme Remain politicians won't grasp at this straw surely (except perhaps Anna Soubry)

The French president aims to use an EU summit next month in Salzburg, Austria, to push for a new "alliance" between the bloc and Britain, The Times reports. A new Continental structure would see "concentric circles" with the EU and Euro at its core and the UK in a second ring, according to the newspaper." At last, some sense from the EU (and from Macron, who until now, has been the most hard line of the EU leaders). Instead of alienating the UK with a no deal, they'll work to accommodate the UK within Europe but outside the Union and the Euro. Despite the UK's Remain "Help, we're going to fall off a cliff!" politicians, it never made sense that the EU member states would poke themselves in the eye with a sharp stick with a no deal which would damage their respective economies greatly.
