Did anyone think we would waltz into the prem and beat established teams immediately?

Jager and Scott, i apologise if i offended you in any way. The main problem I have is you both seem to think you can only be Welsh to support the Swans. In my profile it is out there that i was born in Scotland and moved to Australia when i was 12. Obviously i dont have the knowledge of past and present players that you do and god forbid who cares what job they have at the present. So please lets be adults, get over it, and start afresh, cheers.

I don't have a problem with anyone non-Welsh supporting the Swans, far from it. I just don't like seeing long term servants like Leon Britton being talked about as if they're easily expendable commodities, that's all.

Problem is this. It's one thing to criticise the team / players/ Manager/ Chairman when deserved. Criticise Danny Graham for missing some chances if you want, and nobody would disagree with you. But to have someone abuse him mercilessly (calling him crap etc) after just a few games, and when the guy needs all the encouragement he can get right now is well out of order. We know that some players read these forums. Anyone who has watched our games must be blind not to see him improving. His work rate is excellent and the Manager himself has publicly said he's got every faith in him and the 'goals will come'. That's good enough for me - for now at least.

He, like the rest of the team has made a huge step up and our expectations should reflect that.

But the fact that mustyfrog has never been to Swansea, clearly knows very little of the history of our Club and lives thousands of miles away makes him probably the least qualified of most supporters on here to make such silly, if forthright comments. Posting utter tosh like 'the Swans aren't good enough for the A-League' is bound to get a reaction.

It just gets those that are closer to what is going on here riled up. Me included. Entitled to an opinion? Yes. Welcome as a far-away fan? Yes (been one myself). But temper that with some humility for your situation. Calling one of our long standing regulars a 'seeing eye dog' isn't going to help your rep on here.

opinions Aussie, gotta love them, like assholes arn't they, didn't realise it was you hiding under a diff nic. anyway, we promised ages a go to have a beer or 2 together, 2013 is the plan, (fiji 2012), hope i can get tickets to a few games, fark business class is expensive but i reckon the bed will be worth it on the flight

Musty I have no problem with you supporting the swans, or you not being welsh in doing so, I have even uttered that there is a problem, and in fact only looked at your profile a couple of days ago, it was completely irrelevant to me where you are from, and as I use tapatalk to access the forum mostly that info is not available.

I would like to draw a line on this with you though, but I am still welsh and kiwi will never be absolved in my eyes , the same as quite a few qpr fans, the anti welsh bigotory coming from there has been noted not just on the swans forum but on the Cardiff forum as well, plus on the qpr forum!

Other fans have noticed the outright hostility coming from qpr fans when people place comments there, and more often than not threads are closed by their moderator as he does not agree with the comments!

He's been hiding from me Musty!! Or maybe Dai....................

I'm not getting involved in this argument but I was once accused of not being a true Welshman because I don't speak the language!! People draw the line in different places but I'm happy being me and with who I am.

I am delighted when I see people supporting the Swans when there seems to be no logical reason for their affinity. Welcome with open arms, I say. You all know the old saying about you can't choose your family but you can choose your friends. I think it's just great when people from afar choose to support our football team and I regard them as much a fan as those of us who are fortunate enough to go to the Liberty, when opportunity presents itself, to cheer the Swans in person.

It matters not where you were born or where you live. Religious persuasion, race, colour or creed are irrelevant. The one thing that binds us all is our love for our wonderful football club. STID.

Yes that will give a few a shock! Mind I think he's already been there, when he stated Pintado is a good striker!!......................

I think the point has been missed, just like on good old 606. It's not the fact of where people are from it's what they say. Nobody has said they don't want fans from outside Swansea at all. You can be a deranged Daiswan in Swansea or a deranged mustyfrog in Brisbane, but you're still deranged.

Kiwitwat, your thread was a wum, you are a bigot, you spend an inordinate amount of time on here a team you do not support, now we don't need justification from you, just for you to sod off and stop diverting threads to your own needs!

So I say again, go away and post on the club you claim to support, a majority on here don't give a **** about the opinions of a bigot, phil included who you are whining too.

good old jager

i would hardly think explaining why i posted on your board is whining
all you seem to want to do is namecall
are you 12 years old
because you certainly behave like one
mind you the way you react to any non swansea born supporter can we expect anything else
maybe next year they will drop
